Back at the hospital, Dr. Manette tells the doctor that she feels better and wants to return to work. The doctor tells her that the leg is healing nicely and that she should go for a walk with her son. She tells him that she will keep nursing the leg until it heals, but that if it hurts, she will not let him go.
