The next morning, the Ming family wakes up, and the Ming elder son tells his wife that he's ready to go home. He tells her to go back to her own home and rest, and then he'll come back to talk to the Mings about what's going on with their son. He's not worried about his mom's health, he says, and he doesn't have anything to worry about. The Mings have brought him some chicken soup, which is a good thing, because it's too greasy for his mom to eat.
