One week later, the Governess is still trying to figure out what's wrong with Roxane. She's not sure if she's pregnant or not, but she can't figure out how to make up for the fact that Roxane has forgotten to study for her exam. The Governess thanks Roxane profusely for all her help, and asks why she didn't apologize earlier. She blames herself for making Roxane feel bad, and says that she was just trying to make him feel bad. She apologizes for making him feel that way, too.
