In this chapter, we are introduced to Hiroyuki and Eiji, two students who have just returned from the university. Hiroyuki is upset that he has not been able to communicate with Eiji about the events that have occurred at the university, and he asks Eiji to tell him everything that has happened. Eiji tells him that it is his fault, and that he is not responsible for anything that has taken place between him and Hiroyuki. The two students hug one another, and they agree to go to the fall festival that is to be held at the end of the month
