On the seventh day after his death, Victor's parents hold a simple funeral. He sees some familiar faces at the funeral, and he tells his mother that she should live her life the way she should, and not waste all her time worrying about the future. He tells his father that something happened to his band, and that he fears that he will not be able to find a way to make the next deal. He wonders if it is necessary to limit the presence of the beneficiary in order to save his luck, but he cannot tell what is weird about it. His fairy godmother sends him on a mission, and she gives him a dog named "Qudu" as a companion.
