The narrator enters the room and tries to find out what's going on. He can't find any information, but he's determined to find it out anyway. He tries to talk to her through writing, but she won't let him in the door without her permission. The narrator tries to figure out if the conflict between the boy and his classmates is school violence or something else. He wonders if it's the bullying that's been going on in the school. He's also worried that the boy might be able to bully other students with his grades. He asks the narrator to help him interview someone.
