About This Chapter
In this chapter, we meet a real estate agent who works for a company that caters to the "lgbt" community. The agent tells us that she's been working for the company for a little over a year now, but she doesn't know how to handle the fact that one in ten of the company's customers is a member of the minority community. She's worried that the company will lose customers if they don't treat them with more respect. She tells the agent to hurry up and take the customers to their apartment viewings, because "Mr. fluster" is going to show up at the apartment looking "overweight" on his annual health exam. This is a big deal for the agent, and she tells him to be careful with women because "they could come out and tell you that you'd better fire her" before she causes anyone more trouble. She also tells him that he's going to have to train his employees to treat the minority customers with less respect than he treats them. This sounds like a good idea, and the agent agrees to help train her employees.
