In this chapter, we meet a young man who is on a quest for love in another world. We learn that he has been in love with a woman named Jane for seven years, and that she is now engaged to another man. The young man is shocked to learn that Jane is engaged to someone else, and he is horrified to find out that she has been engaged to a man for ten years.
