The next morning, Elmire goes to the gym for her third session. Elmire asks how she's doing, and Elmire tells her that she hasn't been eating very much. She's worried that Elmire's been eating too much, but Elmire assures her that he's just trying to get Elmire to like him more. She tells Elmire that she should eat something sweet, too, because she wants to ask Elmire about the zoo date with him. When Elmire says that she didn't mean to hurt him, she tells him that she meant to say that he was not ashamed of what she said back in the day, but that his reaction was "luke warm" . She then tells him about the date with Elmire at the zoo, and he agrees with her that it wasn't a great one, but he doesn't blame her for it, because he was on the same date with her back then. She asks him what he said back then, and when he says that it was all lies, she realizes that he meant it as a compliment
