In this chapter, we are told that 70 percent of overtime workers are going to have sex with each other in broad daylight. We are also told that the sex is going to take place in the middle of the day, which means that the workers will be out of their minds all the time. When the scene opens, we find that we are introduced to a new member of the gang, who has just returned from a business trip. He tells us that he has been busy with work and that he is not taking any time off. He asks if there is anything he can do to take advantage of the extra time. He says that there is a lot of work to be done on the business trip, but that he needs to use the time to refresh himself. When he asks if he can drink, he is told that it is about thirsty. He is shocked to find out that this is the first time he has ever been thirsty, and he is horrified to learn that it will be the last time he will drink.
