In this short scene, Eve explains to Gozu what has happened to her. She tells him that she has been transformed into a demon, and that she is now living in a village. She explains that the villagers sacrificed her because they wanted to reduce the number of mouths they could feed. Eve tells Gozu that she was raised like a family, and they all cried when they sent her away. She asks what she should do now, and he tells her to do whatever she wants. He tells her not to be greedy, and not to lose both her life and her fortune.
