In this short scene, the two young men discuss their pasts. The narrator tells us that he came to Japan when he was six years old, and that he was "struggling to survive" . He tells the story of how he and his family were "swamped up" by the "yakuza" , and how he now wants to spend time with his friend. He also tells the young man that he has found his ex-boyfriend, who is hiding in the countryside. The two men agree that it is time for them to get away from the country, and the narrator tells him that he will help him get back to Japan as long as he lives
