The chapter opens with Roger telling his son that his father disowned him because of him. He tells him that he will not be able to get the money from Onda until she has raised a million bucks. He also tells his son to be careful with Onda because he knows that he has set him up for failure. He says that he is a "pretty great fuck" and that he does not know how to be a good person. He asks his son why he should try him out for himself and find out if he is really a good man. He then asks him why he is trying to save him when he cant just rely on Onda to do so. When he realizes that his belt is stuck in the mud, he screams at his son. He accuses him of being a "bastard" who has tricked his father and onda into believing that he can do whatever he likes to what he wants.
