The narrator tells us that he's not going to leave her alone. He's in love with her, and he wants to be with her. He wants to overwhelm her with all of his desires, but he doesn't want her to make him do anything. The narrator says that sex used to be the way he made a living, but now that he has sex with someone, sex is a lot more comfortable.
