About This Chapter
The shop manager tells the shop owner that the guild's leader has been hounding him about the theft. The shop owner says that the leader wants to apologize to him formally, but the guild won't allow it to be done. Instead, they have the stolen items and have confessed their crimes. The owner says he's happy to have his merchandisable back, and thanks the judge for being so "under standing" of the situation. The judge asks if the shop can join a guild, and the owner replies that they can. He tells the judge that he sent a letter to the guild leader when he was worried about him, and that the letter was addressed to the secretary general of the guild. He says that he'll tell him what happened, but that he doesn't really know the man very well. He's just "a lowly officer" , and he'd rather not tell him anything
