In this chapter, the Duke of Albany, a member of the royal family, makes a vacation recommendation to his friend, the King of France. The Duke complains about the food at the inn where he is staying and the fact that a man who looks like a noble is staying there. The man is a former tutor of the King, and the Duke says that the man has a "wild side" that makes him idolize the King's family. When the Duke asks the King if he can come in and talk to him, he says that he has to go and find the man.
