In this chapter, we learn that the tax office is going to conduct its investigation at the club where sakimura works. The tax officer tells Aitani that he's not a member of the team that's looking into the case anymore. He says that they're looking into a dangerous individual who's been co-operating with the tax authorities for a long, long time. He's full of veterans, he says, who've been working on the case for years. He tells aitani to leave the case to the tax guys, because he'll get a chance to prove his suspicions later on. The office is here to search the home and the company as well, and they'll need to update the president's records. The company's business records need to be revised, too, so the office will need to deal with that sooner or later. The only problem is that the office's going to confiscate the car, which means that everything that happened that night is a lie. So the office has to hurry back to the club to find out what's up.
