In order to pass the first round of examinations, the two students have to hunt as many beasts as possible within a month and obtain their own crystal cores. They must also obtain the fourth level crystals of any element. The only place where they will be able to do so is the earth's spirit mountain, but it is too far away for them to go there. The two students ask each other if they have dragon-like powers. They are both called thunder emperors by their masters, and both of them will have their own partner after they pass the sixth rank. The brothers discuss the matter of the meeting of the academy board of directors that took place the previous day. They both know that the meeting was arranged because of them, but they do not know what the matter is with each other. They wonder if a fight is taking place between two sorcerers fighting the monsters, and when they hear a cough coming from one of the students, they decide to leave the next day.
