About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the three-headed monster is actually a combination of the three flames of the sun, the three powers of the moon, and the three magic skills of fire, air, and water. In other words, the monster's three powers are the same as those of the other three masters. The only difference between the three masters is that the third master's powers are more powerful than the other masters' powers. This is because the second master is a "serious individual" , whereas the first master is just a "hobbyist" . The second master has even made a deal with the monster that he won't tell anyone about his abilities until the monster has mastered the three skills. This means that the monster doesn't need to worry about knowing his abilities, because he'll be able to use his weapons whenever he needs them. The other master is also a serious individual, so he's willing to help the monster master master his magic weapons. The monster agrees to this deal. He also wants to know why the other master didn't challenge him earlier. The first master says that he was just there to invite the monster to join the bartender guild, since he left that day. The wine is so good that it's hard to believe that it could taste so good. He wants to give the monster an important task to complete without further ado. If the monster can beat him in this task, he can join the guild. But the monster refuses to negotiate. He's not going to negotiate with the other two masters, he says. First, he wants to see how the monster is using his dual flames. He says that the two masters don't teach him anything.
