"Bathhouse sex" is the title of this chapter, and it's a reference to the scene in which the narrator's childhood friend is having sex with him in a bathhouse. The narrator and his friend are having sex, and they're both terrified of what's going to happen to them if they don't get it together. They're so terrified that they hide in the bushes and wait for the guy to come out of the house.
