About This Chapter
The next morning, Donovan and the gang head to the port of Luanda, where they'll meet up with the rest of the gang. Donovan tells us that he's been able to gather some interesting information from the journal entries of various scientists and tourists. He's even managed to convince some of them that the loch-ness monster is real, and he'll be able to track it down in a couple of days. He also tells Donovan that if he wants to hunt down the chipekewe, he can do so in seven days, which is fine with him, since he doesn't understand why the government granted him such a visa. He says that they're not wasting their time and money on a fabrication, and that they should just go back to California and live happily ever after. He wants to make sure that feiersinger isn't allowed to come back to the Galapagos, since that would be a waste of his time and his money. They're also going to explore some of the more remote parts of the marshes, where the goblers were unable to do so before. They should be careful with the crates, because the bigfoot is huge and fast, and they need to keep track of him pronto. They all wish each other a good night, and Donovan says that he still has nothing against Luyana.
