About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the kids still don't really love Michael, but they do need him to be their mom. He's still a cheater, though, so he's going to take the kids to the new hyperloop train station, where they'll be able to catch a glimpse of the island that was destroyed in the earthquake. He wants to have a baby with her, but he doesn't know yet if he'll do it. He promises to find the money to pay for the baby's birth. He also tells her that he left her an elephant in the trunk of the car, so she can take it with her when she gets back. He tells her to put the elephant in her suitcase, and she's sure to be happy. She tells him that she'll make a baby in two weeks, and he says that's a good idea. He asks her what she'd like to do with the baby, since time is so short. She says that she wants to make the baby today, which means that she has to leave the train station at 1 o'clock in the morning. She's glad to be home, but she also worries that if the train is late, she won't get to see him.
