In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, a former special agent named Seyfried Fontine. Seyfried's identity is unknown, but we are told that he was once a member of the special investigations unit of the infinity, and that he worked for Seyfried in the past. He tells us that Seyfried is a "disconnect" from the rest of the world, because he has no access to a flywire, which is the only way to communicate with the outside world. He says that he is going to get Seyfried his mind so that he can figure out what is going on.
