In this chapter, we learn that the downside of being a flywire is that you're constantly forgetting things. For example, you've got to go back to the old fashioned way of dealing with people: you have to talk to them, not just talk to yourself. This is a big problem for a guy like Bellarius, because he's constantly thinking about what's going on in his head. He's got a lot of sexual fantasies going on, but he can't tell Bellarius what he just did. Bellarius says he hates starting the day the way it is. He wants to know if Bellarius has a new gun, a new target lock, or a new lock on the door. He also wants to ask the brat if she's sure that the guy who's bleeding all over her carpet is the same guy who tried to stab him in the guts.
