When the narrator returns home, he finds that Yumi has just had sex with a guy whom she met on the street. He wonders why she would have sex with such a nice guy, and wonders if she is a "bad girl" for having sex with someone like that. He tells his father that he will take care of her sister's tuition at her university, and that she was a "type of person" who did not want to say no to him. He promises to return soon, and promises to marry her. He also tells Yura that he is happy that he married him, because he is paying her tuition.
