The scene opens with a flashback to the night before, in which Yonhap learns that his wife has gone to a hotel with another man. Yonhap is shocked to learn that the man is Yonhap's father-in-law. He is furious that Yonhap has allowed his wife to be taken in by another man, and he is angry that he has not been able to protect Yonhap from the consequences of his actions.
