The narrator tells the family that Roxane's son has been found with "altation room amnesia" , which means that he has "memory loss" . Roxane asks if Roxane is okay, and the narrator tells her that he is. He also tells Roxane that her son's father is at work, and that he will not be able to return home for some time because of his job. The narrator asks Roxane if she wants to see her father, and Roxane says that she does, but that she is not sure why she is asking. She tells him that she has received a call from a woman at the hospital, who wants her to come back home and see her son. She asks him to go, and he agrees.
