In this short scene, Hirokazu's mother tries to get him to tell her everything that has happened to him. She tells him that he has been skipping school and that she has called her teacher. She asks him where he is, and he tells her that he heard that he did something crazy, and that he ran away, or maybe he got killed. She then asks him what he meant by "bad guys," and he says that he had connections to "some bad guys" and made a young girl sell her body and run away with the money. He then tells her to go to school the next day, and she tells him to step behind the train line and say hi to her father, who is on his way to America with his business trip. She says that she will do whatever he wants with her, and then she asks him not to push himself too hard, because they are graduating soon and she wants to go abroad with her father.
