The narrator tells us that he hates Roxane from the "bot tom of his heart" . She's a "student first sight" for him, but he won't "change his curt attitude" , even when he tries to break up with her. The narrator says that Roxane's baby is a "forceful rape" of the man, and that the love of a mother and a wife will protect her child forever. Roxane says that she'll never be able to forgive Roxane for what she's done to her. She tells the narrator to come to her room and drink her milk. She asks the narrator what he was thinking when he was alone with Roxane. He says that he can't remember the words that he heard from Roxane the day before, and Roxane hasn't responded to his messages or called him. He's staying at the hospital, the narrator says, and he's not picking up his calls either.
