Hiroyuki and his dog, the big mutt, arrive at the train station in Tochigi Prefecture, where Hiroyuki's family lives. Hiroyuki tells the dog that he's on a date, and Hiroyuki agrees. The two of them go to the zoo, go to a cafe, and then wait in line at the cafe for a while. Hiro and the dog decide to eat dinner together, but Hiroyuki doesn't know what he wants to eat. He asks if he can go home to visit his family. The dog says that he can, but that he has to go back to his family's house whenever he wants. He also says that sometimes he feels like he needs to go home, but he hasn't yet moved to Tokyo, so he can't really say. He wants to know what they're doing for dinner, and he asks if Hiroyuki has anything to tell him.
