The next morning, the narrator wakes up drunk. He wants to join the travel society, but he's worried about his brother-in-law, who's too gentle with him. He asks the senior travel society member if he'd like to join, and the senior says yes. The senior tells the narrator that his sister isn't very outgoing, and that she'll probably tell her dad when she's back from the trip. He tells the young man to be nice to his sister in the future, and to stop bullying her.
