Roxane is having an affair with Roxane's boss, the manager of the family restaurant in which she works. Roxane complains to Roxane that she's late for work, and Roxane says she'll take a nap. She asks Roxane if he's worried about her, and he says he is. He tells her that he asked Roxane to do some work for him the day before, and that it must have been very hard on her. He says he'll go out and do some more work, but that he doesn't have the energy to do much of it right now. He's going to an exhibit, he says, and will be back in 30 minutes. When Roxane asks him if he needs to look for a full-time job, he responds that he does, and then he leaves.
