In this short scene, the young woman is introduced to her husband, who is the manager of a large department store in the area where she works. The young man is described as "younger than me" and "quite absent minded" for his wife's age. He is also a "sexless" man, as he is not married to a woman of his own age. When the young man asks if his wife is back yet, she replies that she has not yet returned from a night of drinking with another woman. She says that the party with the other woman lasted quite long, and that the cause of the lack of sexual stimulation is the "lack of stimulation" caused by the "uncoupling" of the young couple. The two young men begin to engage in a sexual act, which they call "splat-splat" .
