About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the main protagonist is a "k-grade assassin" . He's also known as a "Thunderfang," "Hatsureiyamakaze," "the mountain," and "anthrax." He explains that even if they all fight the mountain together, they'll have no chance of winning because the mountain hasn't been beaten by anyone. He also explains that he's going abroad to get promoted to a "grade bodyguard" , which means he'll be able to kill a lot of people. He says that if only he could "break your head off" and "throw it on the Congressman's table," he'd be promoted to "a-grade bodyguard." He also says that the mountain killed nearly 100 of his fellow K-grade mercenaries, and that's why they're fighting against him. He adds that if he were a "grader," he wouldn't even have to use his energy shield to fight someone with his skill level. He doesn't need to use it, he says, because the other guys are too scared of bullets. He asks if he can get the bag on his back with the energy shield on it, and if it'll take him long to get it, then he can just rely on himself.
