In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is named yuan wu and that he and his classmates encountered a monster on the roof of the library to help his classmates escape. He attacked the monster and was thrown from the roof. The monster saved him and gave him an unimaginable power. The remainder of the power is sealed after he uses it to maintain his body inside the device. Inside the device, the monster will guide him to defeat the Nine Kings. After completing this mission, the protagonist realizes that he has the ability to attack super-souls. The protagonist is shocked to find out that he can do so. He is also shocked to learn that he is able to do so with only a little spiritual energy. He wonders if he can use this power to harm the monster. He will make the monster pay for it.
