"Blank stare, no secrets" The narrator tells us that he was embarrassed when he found out that his brother was in love with someone else. He apologizes to his brother for not being more careful, and says that he's sorry to him too. The narrator admits that she's not the only one who rejected his suitor, but she says that her brother was crying because he was afraid that youngji would stay away from her. She says that she hopes that she isn't hated because of her rejection, and that she doesn't want youngji to be hated either. She also says that if she were youngji, she'd continue to like her because she is a great person. She apologizes for the way she said it, but says that it's dangerous to make fun of someone's feelings. She asks the narrator to sleep for now, and then she'll think about the situation tomorrow.
