In this short scene, Orgon and the others are still waiting for the rains to stop. Orgon tells the others that he's going to kill the soldier if they don't obey him. He also tells Anja that she's crazy for having sex with the stranger. He tells her that he spent all his years training her to be a gnat, but now that she has sex with a man, he can't stand it any longer. The two of them talk about how they're going to get reinforcements soon, and that the soldiers will be back soon. They're not going to be able to get back to the city because of the floods, and they have to take shelter in the catacombs. They tell the others to come back and help them, but Anja and the little thief are too scared to do so. They say that they've seen a real warrior before, and Anja tells them that the man they saw wasn't like the others. They all agree that the floods are real and that they need to get out of the city. They also say that if they want their reward, they should stick with them. But Anja doesn't want them to do that, and she says she'll tell them what she'd do if they drown in the flood.
