In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, a young boy named Nemo. Nemo is the son of a wealthy and powerful family. He is the heir to the family fortune. Nemo's father is a powerful military leader. Nemo and his mother have been married for thirty years. They have two daughters, a son and a daughter-in-law. Nemo tells his mother that he has come to take care of her. He tells her that he will return to her soon. Nemo asks his mother if she would like to marry him. She says she would, but that she does not want to marry a man who is not her husband. Nemo says he will not marry a woman who does not love him. He asks her if she wants him to marry her son. She tells him that she would not want him married to someone who did not love her. She asks him if he would like her to marry someone else. He says he would not, but he does not know what to do. She gives him a piece of paper and tells him to write a letter to her. Nemo writes a letter back to his mother and asks her to send him a message. She sends him a note back saying that she will send him another one.
