The men are in a terrible state of confusion. They are wondering what has driven Agamemnon to commit such a crime. They wonder if they should beheaded him. The men assure each other that they do not want to lose anything. The minister asks if Laith's throat is swelling, and the minister says it is. Laith has been lying unconscious for five months. He tells the men that they are near the plains of Honz, and that they will soon be running across them. He invites them to join him later in the hanger.
