The faculty continues to discuss costumes for the upcoming performance. The costumes are decided on by picking a theme, and the costumes are drawn. The students discuss the teacher, who is named Mami Heekawa, and decide that she is the best dancer in the company. They also decide that they will have a substitute dancer, named Yaya Yuki, to perform the role of the flower fairy in the performance. Yaya tells the students that she can't dance because she is too stiff. She also tells them that her mother has retired from the company because of a foot injury, and that she wants to give the performance one last try.
