In this chapter, Shmoop asks the gang about their favorite character. They all answer that they'd like to be a beach resort, but that's not going to happen. They're also worried about the uv-grip of the sand, which makes them feel like they're in the middle of a schoolyard. They decide to play with fireworks, which they've made out of sand, and make a tower out of it to watch the sky from above. They also decide to make their own food, which is fun because they'll all be able to do what they want with their own powers. They talk about how they wish they could change into their own characters so they could do whatever they want, but they can't because it's hard to cheat. The boys are cleaning up the bathtub, and the girls are talking about how cute they are and how much they like them. They run off to find a girl who looks like her, but she doesn't show up, so they run back to find her dead. They don't want to tell her they love her, because she was the one who loved them the most. They go back to the sand art contest, which was a huge success, and they decide to do it again on their own.
