About This Chapter
It's Christmas morning, and the sound of a rock being thrown is heard. It turns out that the rock is the scarf Nono was wearing when he was looking at it. The narrator is bummed that he can't touch the scarf again, but he's also glad that he'll be able to wear it for the rest of his life. He's even more bummed when he realizes that the manga is about to be released, and that he doesn't want anyone else to see him. He wants to brag about his cute little sister, and he wants no one else to know that he isn't his sister's boyfriend. He also wants to make sure that no one sees him, so he gives them the knitted items that he gave Nono as a present. He asks his father why he gave them to him, and his father explains that they're meant to be used as gifts, not curses. He says that the items are meant to make people go "simp present" , which means that they look like they belong to someone else, and not to the person they are supposed to belong to. He then asks if there's a safe place where he can wear the scarf outside, so that it won't get in the way of someone else's view.
