In this chapter, we meet a girl named Barako, who has come to meet her older sister, Yachiyo. Barako is a student at an all-girls high school, and she and her older brother have been friends since elementary school. The girl, who goes by the name of "Barako . ," has a crush on Barako's older brother, "Yachiyo." Barako and her brother have a disagreement about whether or not they should play a game called "Tomoru-San," which is a Japanese word game.
