In this chapter, we learn that Nemo's father sent Nemo a letter. The letter is addressed to Nemo and says that he has sent him a good luck charm in order to protect him from evil. The charm says that Nemo should wear it and protect himself. Nemo is upset that his father's love for him is so heavy, but he decides to play the game and see what he can make of it.
