About This Chapter
In this chapter, Barako and Yochiyo continue their game of hide-and-seek. Barako wants to know why they decided to play the game blindfolded. He says that it's the first time he's played with someone who's blindfolded, so he wants to make sure that he doesn't lose. He wants to find a place where they can hide. He's afraid that the voice in the room is afraid of him, and so he decides to hide in a room that's connected to a hidden passage. He tells Barako that this is the house of the aybes, after all, and that no one will find them if they hide in this room. He asks if they had fun with each other today, and Barako says that he had fun playing with him today because they had no other option. He then asks if Barako has fun playing the game with him, too, and asks if he has fun with him all the time. When Barako answers that he does, he says that they've reached a point in the game where they're going to have to play a game together. They decide to play "agai-swish slide," which is a game in which the player has to slide through a series of tunnels and switches.
