The narrator asks what's going on. The narrator says that she's the one who has secrets, and that if she hadn't, she wouldn't have been able to handle it. She says that when her dad came to visit, she and her grandparents agreed that she should live with her dad instead of his new family. She also says that her grandfather did not want her to hear about his condition, but that's because it was about her. She asks if he stood her up because she was visiting her grand father, and she says that he did, but she can't decide if it was because he trusted her more than she did. She then asks if she wants to go visit her boyfriend, who might not respond to her questions, or if he might not be able to respond at all. She tells the narrator that she hopes he'll come visit her one day, but he might be rude to her. He says that talking to her through Niko is rude, and he doesn't like talking to people who don't answer him. He asks if they could do a puzzle together, and the narrator says they'll go for a walk. He's not sure how much he hears from his grandfather, or how much time he spends with him, but says that it's hard for him to be in school, so he comes as often as he can. He wants to know why she wanted to visit him today, because his family is "a little messed up" . He wonders why she keeps waiting for him, and wonders if she has trust in him.
