About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that Sik-wan's old friend, Seo-han, is now in town. He's not at the school, but he does have a message for Seo-wan: "Hey, I'm here, and I've been waiting for you for a while. I'd like to see you." We learn that the two of them used to play together when they were younger, but they haven't seen each other in a long time. It's a coincidence that they're both there at the same time, but Sik-han doesn't seem to be having any of it. He says that he's been distracted by all the talk of the day, and that he doesn "even feel the vibration" of his old friend's calls. He tells us that it's because he'd rather not talk about "mates" or "attributes" with his friend. He also says that it would be best for him not to talk about his "mate" or his "fiance" , since it'll be better for him to "be upset about it" . The two talk for a little while, and then they decide to meet again. It turns out that the woman who called on Sik-Han's behalf was actually her patient, and she canceled her appointment because she had "work to do." The two chat for a bit more, and the two realize that the call was from their brother, and not from their old friend. They realize that it was his brother's cell phone, not theirs, and so they ask each other to call again. They both realize that this is the same way they treated each other
