In this short scene, we are introduced to a number of characters, including Anqiao, who is now married, and her sister, who has recently returned from Hong Kong. We are also introduced to some of the characters who have been introduced in the previous scenes, such as Shu-Liang, who was introduced in Chapter 1 and is now a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Shu-Feng, who played the part of the Stock Exchange's secretary in Chapter 2.
