The narrator tells the audience that if you're entitled to be angry, then you shouldn't be angry. He's not saying that you should be angry because you've got the right to do whatever you want with your life, but he's saying that it's okay if you can't do what you want. The narrator then goes on to say that if your "entitled to being angry" gives you the "privilege to run away" from home at "your whims and fancies" , then that doesn't mean you have the "right" to be "angry" . He then tells us that the narrator has just eaten breakfast and is already "vacuuming the floor." The narrator says that if he stays idle for long enough, he'll become restless. He decides to do some housework to keep himself busy. He asks if he enjoys doing household chores, and the narrator says he does. He says that life is not as good after being married as before,
