Tristan is sick with worry that someone has channeled the spell and that one of the other gnomes must have done it. He wonders if they have a better map, and wonders why they haven't been able to figure out where they are. He also wonders if the human girl has suggested an alliance with them, and he wonders if all of them are "bloody morons" . Tristan wonders if it would be better for them to rethink the whole thing, since it's too dangerous.
